This package contains two files: the Wing Commander III 1.0.2 Updater program and the Release Notes. Wing Commander III 1.0.2 fixes these problems: * On some computers, sound would play through only one speaker. * When an enemy missile locked on to you, a warning sound would play very softly. It is much louder now. * Very rarely, if you were shot by an enemy just as you hit "Autopilot", the game would not switch to autopilot. Instead, the ship would keep flying and you could not control it. * At the end of the winning game movie, you would have to click to see the credits. Wing Commander III Macintosh is the exciting spaceflight action game from Origin Systems based on the #1 selling PC version. It features full texture-mapped 3D space combat as well as over 3 hours filmed cinematic sequences starring Mark Hamill and Malcolm McDowell. The game comes on 4 CD's and requires a Power Macintosh. It is available at most retail stores and mail order companies.
