Baraka is a fan-made scenario for Bungie's Marathon 2: Durandal, distributed via Info-Mac as a BinHex package by Michael E. Gaines. The release on the archive is an explicit pre-release: one solo map and two net maps, advertised as a preview of a planned final cut of ten solo and eight net maps. It is a third-party map/story add-on, not a standalone game.Relationship to Marathon 2Baraka requires a working installation of Marathon 2: Durandal to play; it ships only the scenario data (maps, terminals, chapter screens) consumed by the Marathon 2 engine.
