About

Come and Get It! is a single-level Wolfenstein 3D scenario for the Macintosh by Mike Hunter (mjhunter@scripps.edu), distributed through Info-Mac. The premise is pure pulp: Hitler is having you for dinner -- literally -- and your job is to reach him first and serve him up on a platter of his own. The dinner party guarding him is large.PremiseThe mission statement in the readme is direct. Stop Hitler before he can stop you, and turn the tables on the assembled enemies who are waiting to make a meal of B.J. Blazkowicz.ScopeThis is a focused, one-level scenario, designed as a tight set-piece rather than a full campaign. Compact maps like this were a common Wolfenstein modding format and rewarded careful encounter design over sheer length.AuthorMike Hunter also released the longer 14-level scenario 48 Hours through Info-Mac and maintained a Wolfenstein page at scripps.edu/~mjhunter/wolfen.html, which served as his contact point for player feedback.DistributionThe scenario lives at info-mac/game/com/wolf/come-and-get-it.hqx, BinHex-encoded for safe transit across the FTP and mail networks of the period.
