AboutB.J.'s Revenge is a fan-made Wolfenstein 3D scenario for the Macintosh, contributed to Info-Mac by L. Rojas (filmman@pacificnet.net). The title is a nod to series protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz; the scenario sends him back into hostile territory for another run through hand-built maps.Built with WolfEditThe scenario was constructed in Greg Ewing's WolfEdit, the de facto Mac toolchain for Wolfenstein 3D level design. WolfEdit produced scenario files that swap in new maps, encounters, and layouts while reusing the stock Wolfenstein art and sound assets.CompatibilityPer the author, B.J.'s Revenge runs with either the shareware Third Encounter release of Mac Wolfenstein 3D or the full commercial version. No additional patches or expansions are required.Where it fits in the archiveThe file lives under game/com/wolf alongside dozens of other community scenarios from the late-1990s Mac Wolfenstein modding scene, a corner of the archive that captures one of the platform's most active level-design communities.InstallationThe archive ships as a BinHex-encoded StuffIt bundle. Decode with BinHex 4.0 or StuffIt Expander, drop the resulting scenario into your Wolfenstein 3D folder, and launch the game to load the new maps. |
