Warcraft II Maps 1 to 7 is a freeware compilation of all the custom PUD maps that German A. Seckel created for the Macintosh release of Blizzard's Warcraft II, spanning his work from version 1.0 through 7.0. The whole set is bundled in a single Info-Mac download for use with Warcraft II or its Beyond the Dark Portal expansion.ContentsThe archive collects every custom map the author had produced for Warcraft II on the Mac at the time of upload, packaged as standard PUD files that drop into the game's maps folder. A subset is flagged as requiring the Beyond the Dark Portal expansion set.RequirementsYou need a working installation of either Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness or the Warcraft II expansion set, in their Macintosh editions from Blizzard Entertainment. System requirements for play are inherited entirely from the host game.License and distributionThe maps are released as freeware. Players are free to share them, redistribute them on commercial CD-ROM compilations, or discard them - the author asks only for an email from anyone who enjoys them.
