AboutA community-contributed saved game for LucasArts' Afterlife, the 1996 simulation in which players administrate Heaven and Hell. Submitted by Romulo Romero (rrome@ix.netcom.com), this Stage 2 save preserves an in-progress game with over 100 million SOULs distributed across both realms and a healthy treasury.Game stateAccording to the author, both realms are populated with more than 100 million SOULs and the planet's mortal civilization has reached the technology level of Advanced Golf. The save provides a flush bank balance, leaving the player free to focus on construction and balance rather than early-game scarcity.Intended useRomero released the file as an ongoing showcase of his Afterlife campaign and invited recipients to mail back critiques or, ideally, the same save advanced further. It functions as both a starting point for new players and a baton in an informal play-by-mail experiment.RequirementsRequires a working installation of LucasArts' Afterlife on a Classic Mac OS system. The file is distributed as a BinHex (.hqx) archive and must be decoded with BinHex 4.0 or a compatible utility before being placed alongside the game's other saved games. |
