About

Jordan's Gone! is a 1998 puzzle-strategy release by Patrick Hew that turns Michael Jordan's first retirement into a top-down block-pushing scenario. The player drives a sporty four-direction tractor while two eight-direction robot mines pursue, and victory comes from shoving blocks to wall the mines in.Topology With ExplosivesHew billed the game as a meeting of topology and high explosives: every move reshapes the maze, and a careless push leaves the tractor cornered against a homing mine.Asymmetric MovementThe mines outclass the tractor in mobility, gliding diagonally across eight headings while the player is locked to four. Survival depends on using pushable blocks as cover and as funnels rather than trying to outrun the threat.Classic Mac CompatibilityBuilt for 68k Macs, Jordan's Gone! runs across System 6.x through Mac OS 9, fitting the late-90s shareware tradition of small, self-contained black-and-white logic games.
