Power Pong 1.0.1 Updater is a patch by David Hay that brings PowerPong from version 1.0 up to 1.0.1. The update fixes a number of bugs, most notably restoring the main menu on displays larger than 640x480, a common limitation for shareware titles of the period.What the Patch FixesThe headline fix targets the main menu, which failed to render correctly on larger Mac displays in version 1.0. The updater also bundles a number of smaller bug fixes that improve overall stability.Author and DistributionThe patch was distributed by author David Hay (hay@nag.cs.colorado.edu) through Info-Mac, with explicit permission for inclusion in CD-ROM shareware collections of the era.Applying the UpdateThe archive ships as a BinHex 4.0 encoded file. After decoding, the updater is run against an existing PowerPong 1.0 installation to bring it to 1.0.1 in place.
