Space Fighter is a one-on-one ship-to-ship combat game from MagicTouch, in the lineage of the small shareware action titles that circulated on Mac BBSes and software collections. Two craft square off across the playfield with an arsenal of ordnance, and the win condition is straightforward: outshoot the other ship before it outshoots you.Ship-to-ship duelThe match pits the player against a single opposing ship. Each combatant has access to multiple weapons rather than a single fire button, so the duel turns into a question of which tool fits the current range and angle of attack.Weapon loadoutThe author lists several distinct weapons in the game: a normal bullet, a short-range laser, a follow shot that tracks vertically with the player's own ship, a detonate-on-command bomb, and a second follow shot that tracks the enemy's vertical position.ControlsThe control scheme is not displayed in-game and the author advises writing it down.
