The Flying Nightmares Act Pack is an add-on mission set for Domark's 1994 Macintosh Harrier sim Flying Nightmares, developed by Simis Limited. It bolts additional scenarios onto the base game, extending the strategic Caribbean campaign with fresh sortie objectives for the AV-8B jump-jet pilot.What it addsThe pack is distributed as a small BinHex archive (flying-nightmares-act-pack.hqx) that drops new mission and scenario files into the game folder, expanding the rotation of strike, CAP, and close-air-support tasks beyond those shipped on the original disk.Requires the base gameThis is content only and cannot be played on its own. Install over an existing copy of Flying Nightmares; Domark's engine handles weather, navigation, and the carrier-and-island operational layer that the new sorties plug into.System requirementsTargets the same envelope as the host title: a 68k or early PowerPC Macintosh running System 7.0 through Mac OS 9, with enough RAM and color depth for the cockpit and terrain rendering of the original release.InstallationUnstuff the .hqx with StuffIt Expander, then place the resulting mission files alongside the Flying Nightmares application; new scenarios appear in the mission selection screen on next launch.
