AboutMacSnails is a Macintosh implementation of the classic Snails game by Swedish developer Niklas Frykholm, who first encountered the title on a ZX Spectrum and ported the concept to the Mac in the mid-1990s. It was released as part of the Niklas Frykholm Shareware Package and posted to Info-Mac in February 1995.About the gameSnails is a turn-based artillery-style contest in which players lob projectiles at opposing snails across a 2D battlefield, adjusting angle and power each turn. MacSnails reproduces that ZX Spectrum-era formula in a small, focused Mac application.Shareware termsThe game is shareware.
