Cannons and Castles 2.0.2 is a 1997 Macintosh port by Andy Lyttle of an Apple II artillery game. Two players each command a castle on opposite sides of a hill and trade shots by typing in the angle and velocity of each cannon, in the classic turn-based tradition of Scorched Earth and Gorillas.GameplayEach side enters firing parameters and watches the projectile arc; the goal is to demolish the opposing castle. The simple input scheme keeps the focus on aim, math, and trash talk between turns.Version HistoryVersion 2.0 added color, improved stability, save games, and Balloon Help.
