CrazyEights is a Macintosh implementation of the classic shedding card game by Dawn MacLaughlin. The player competes against the computer to be the first to discard every card in hand; any player still holding cards when an opponent goes out is penalized points for each, and the match ends when a player's score crosses the configured limit.Players and optionsThe game supports two to four players, with one to three computer opponents filling the remaining seats. A range of options lets you tailor both the rules of play and the appearance of the table to your taste.Convenience featuresCrazyEights can save and load games in progress, includes on-line help with a description of the rules, and tracks your win percentage across sessions so you can measure long-term progress.Recent changesVersion 2.1.2 brings performance enhancements; the 2.1.x line also added font controls for messages, configurable mouse-click handling between turns, and persistence of the main window's size and position between sessions.
