Double is a mahjong solitaire game first released for Classic Mac OS in 1996 by PCV enr, with a Carbonized 2.0.4 build that runs on Mac OS 8.1 through Mac OS X. It bundles a generous selection of tilesets and board layouts, giving the familiar pair-matching puzzle a configurable, long-lived feel on vintage Macs.Mahjong Solitaire Done SimplyThe objective is the standard one: clear the board by removing matching pairs of free tiles until nothing remains. Tiles are free when they have no neighbour to the left or right and nothing stacked on top, which keeps each layout a fresh logical puzzle rather than a memory exercise.Tilesets and LayoutsDouble ships with multiple tilesets (traditional mahjong faces and themed alternatives) and assorted board arrangements, so players can pick the visual style and difficulty curve that suits them. Switching is handled from in-app menus, no fiddling with resources required.Two Builds, Wide CoverageVersion 1.1 is a 68k/PPC fat binary aimed at System 7.
