Chess Album is a tiny HyperCard 2 stack from 1992, distributed by Mark Zimmermann (science@oasys.dt.navy.mil) as a roughly 6 KB compacted, BinHexed download. It is intended for recording correspondence chess games: drag pieces around a board and type moves into a field on the card.OriginThe stack was posted in November 1992 and circulated through the Info-Mac archive in the board-games (brd) category as chess-album-10-hc.hqx.What it doesProvides a graphical chess board with draggable pieces plus a text field for move notation, suitable for tracking games played by mail, email, or over the phone.RequirementsHyperCard 2.x.
