Retrieve It! 2.5 is a cool new Macintosh utility that lets you search the Internet *and* your hard drive. It works with your browser to provide short cuts to powerful online search services like AltaVista, InfoSeek, Yahoo, PCQuote, Four11, and others. You can search the World Wide Web, online news sources, classified ads and Usenet -- and lookup stock quotes, email addresses, and other online information -- all about twice as fast as using your web browser directly. And you can search through hundreds of files on your hard drive in seconds to find the ones that mention the words or phrases you specify. Vist for the full story. This demo version of Retrieve It! 2.5 is just like the full version, except it only lets you use a couple World Wide Web search services, and it only lists the first two found files for any given hard drive search.
