This stack provides a variety of scripting techniques for accessing the Speech Manager using either the commands built into HyperCard 2.3 or XCMDs. The stacks greatest value, however, may be that it documents the use of inline commands and phonemic symbols. These methods greatly increase an author's control over the Speech Manager. They are not discussed in the documentation that comes with HC 2.3
