Stella's Mover will help people moving from a Macintosh to a Windows PC (though they be sinners). It will check file names for non-Windows characters and rename them to an underscore character. It will also add the appropriate file extension, (such as .xls or .doc). Please contact thoule@wesleyan.edu with any questions. This software is $15 Shareware. It requires MacOS 7.5 and AppleScript support.
