About

Photo Viewer is a simple Macintosh program for browsing folders full of images. It works with images, such as those created by Adobe Photoshop or Kodak Picture Transfer, which have a PICT resource that serves as a preview. It presents one or more browsing windows, displaying an array of these previews. Clicking on a preview tries to display it. Option clicking on a preview launches the relevant application to display it. Photo Viewer uses QuickTime to interpret images. Use the pop up menu in the upper left hand of the browser window to navigate folders. Use the Next and Previous buttons to look at different pages of previews. Resize the window to show more or fewer previews. Photo Viewer also works with Adobe Illustrator files and probably those of other drawing programs, but it cannot display these. Use option-click to launch the appropriate drawing program. This program is freeware, made with REALbasic.
