EZChat is a System 6 and 7 compatible server based chatting program that works over multiple zone appletalk networks that is extraordinarily easy to setup and use. What's New since 1.0? Many bugs where fixed. It now works correctly on multizone systems! Why is EZChat better then other chatting programs? -Backward Compatibility % Works with system 6 and old macs! % No annoying Program to Program Communication Logins! % Runs fine in an SE sized screen with only 200k of memory! -Robustness % Runs great when it's not the foreground application without hurting performance. % Supports up to 50 simultaneous users and up to 20 unprocessed messages % The scroll back buffer fills available memory then automatically purges itself as memory gets low -Fun % Supports private messages between users % Notifies of persons logging in and out % Super easy to use % Configurable Users Identities % If your the host it lets you kick off annoying users % Supports multiple appletalk zones Shareware: If you use this program for more then 30 days you are obligated to send me $20 + $10 for each additional user license which you wish to register at your current facility. If you do this I'll even send you a copy of EZChat that will let you password protect your chats.
