AboutTAMA the Cat ------------ TAMA the Cat is a virtual cat who wanders about on your desktop. She moves around just like a real cat, for example walking, running, jumping, standing, sleeping, stretching, clawing, cleaning, clinging, skipping, hunting, fighting and so on. You can easily control her with the keypad or arrow keys. TAMA's most conspicuous charactor distinguished from other cats that I released before is the ability to recognize human speech. She can recognize your specific words and react to them. This function is realized by the marvelous technology "English Speech recognition" developed by Apple computer. Try to speak to her first, "How are you?". She should stop her motion at once and meow. Say "Run right", "Run left" and "Stop". She will be obedient to you. Try to order TAMA to "Dance till morning". You'll see a strange dance. But don't laugh at that in case you hurt her feeling. You may order "Ninja special". Don't forget big applause if she has done successfully. This software is shareware. Please register and get the keyword that stops the irritating dialogue window when you start this program. Registration fee is U.S.$10, that will be used meaningfully for making next volumes of "Cat's Eye View" series. After registering I will let you know all about voice commands. She can recognize thirty commands, which range from ordinary motion to special acrobatic performance. *TAMA is one of traditional cat's names, which means the "ball" or the "jewel" in Japanese. |
