Solar Game is a HyperCard-based shareware educational title by Joe Hammons aimed at children of all ages. It teaches the locations of the nine planets in our solar system and presents interesting facts about each one, packaged in the point-and-click stack format that defined Mac edutainment in the early 1990s.Educational focusThe stack pairs a planetary-position learning activity with per-planet fact pages, so a young user can both place the planets in order and read short descriptions of each world's character.HyperCard deliveryBuilt on HyperCard, Solar Game inherits the era's standard browseable-card interface: navigate from card to card, click hotspots, and read text fields.
